Download and install ART using VMware Server 2.0
- Download ART onto the machine on which you installed VMware Server.
NOTE: You will need a license key for installation. For a trial license, use the "Register" link on the upper right, and we will email you a license. A full license will be emailed upon receipt of your purchase order.
- Extract all downloaded files into C:\Virtual Machines\art (files must be in this directory to enable VMware Server to find them).
- Open the VMware Server console. You will be prompted for a login and password for someone who has administrative privileges on the physical machine.
- Click the Add Existing Virtual Machine link (located in the right-hand column).
- In the Add Existing Virtual Machine dialog box, click on the Standard triangle twizzler to reveal the ART virtual machine.

-
Click on the ART folder so you can see and click on art.vmx in the Contents column. Then click the OK button.
- To start the ART virtual machine, click on ART in the Inventory column then click the green play button on the top menu bar.
- You should be able to browse to the IP address shown on the VMware console. Follow the GETTING STARTED instructions on the right side of the Console window.
- On the Console, you will also see a login dialog box. You need not log in unless you want to set up a static IP address. See the FAQ for more information. If you do log in, use Username = art, Password = tsmworks .
