Prerequisites for Installing ART

ART runs under VMware. 

Most sites use VMware ESX, and have a VMware support team who can start up ART for you.  They should read the ESX Install Guide.

No ESX? Then install VMware Player on your desktop (got RAM?), and run a trial there. You'll want to read the VMware Player Install Guide.

VMware Requirements

• 1 GB RAM
• 100 Mbps or faster NIC
• 2 CPUs minimum
• Free disk space: 90 GB

TSM Server level

• TSM Server Version 5.4 or higher

Network Requirements

• Network access to all monitored TSM servers
• You may need to resolve firewall issues

Browser Requirements

• MSIE 6+, Firefox, Safari supported
• javascript must be enabled
• pop-blockers should be disabled for ART site
